Trinity River fishing Report 1/10/2026

The Trinity River flows out of Lewiston Dam are right at 1,520 cfs with the flows increasing to 3,000 cfs on Monday. The water is in perfect shape, with lots of steelhead marching there way up the river. Lots of fish are moving into tributaries like rush creek, grass valley creek and canyon creek just to name a few. There are plenty of fish to be had in the main. The river is fishing good from Lewiston all the way down through junction city. It’s big water a lot of work for the guy rowing but it pays off. I’ll be fishing steelhead through February with low or high flows. Just as long as it’s green water!! I still have dates available for winter steelhead on the Trinity River.

The Trinity River is conveniently located just 30 miles west of Redding California!!
