Trinity River steelhead fishing 🎣 Report

The Trinity River continues to pump out steelhead for February. Things got tough the first part of February because of no rain. The river got low and not much moving fish to speak of. Now we got rain/snow the junction city area come up to 1,200 cfs now we will see the last of the winter fish arrive. I expect a good ending to February for steelhead fishing. I will end my season the end of the month. It’s been a great season on the Trinity River to say the least. Thank you to all my returning clients that love fishing this beautiful river just as much as I do.

If your wanting to book a steelhead trip now is the time to get your dates for next year. Prime time for this River is mid October through January, Those months will fill up.

I will be switching over to the Sacramento River starting March for wild Rainbow’s/ steelhead. Then come April I’ll be fishing striped bass on the Sacramento River in Colusa ca, now is the time to book your trips for those fisheries!!
