Sacramento River Fishing Report May 17th, 2020 the Sacramento River Trout/Steelhead fishing in Redding CA, has been really good!! Sac River always produces good days of trout fishing year around. Spring time through August this river is some of the best and most consistent trout fishing you will find. If catching 20 to 50 fish days sounds good to you. Then this is a great choice for the next few months. We are side drifting with light action spinning rods and also fly fishing for these hard fighting rainbows. The flows are at 10,000 cfs these are great flows for both techniques.

Shasta Lake Fishing Report: Shasta Lake is starting to pick up for big Rainbow Trout /King Salmon and some big Browns. The most productive way to catch good numbers of Trout on Shasta Lake is trolling shad pattern spoons. This fishery will only get better as we move in to June and July. This is a great trip for kids and friends. Catching fish and eating it for dinner.

Sacramento River Striped Bass Fishing Report: The Striped Bass fishing on the Sacramento River has slowed. We still except to see a few good days, but season is about over. Guys are doing well at night throwing swim baits or blk worms in certain areas where the big females are hanging out. For the guys drifting minnows they are struggling to fill the box. We will be booking for March, April, May 2021. Remember we are a full time Fishing Guide/Charter.
