May is here and the Striped Bass fishing is amazing! I have been fishing the Sacramento River in Colusa. We are doing big groups and getting limits. Not only are these fish fun to catch the are great to eat. I get them cleaned and filleted out for my clients at the end of our day. It makes for a easy meal. I always say to take advantage of the Striped Bass season. For kids , big groups of friends or family. Its easy fishing but full of excitement.

Shasta Lake is another area we have had great days right now. we are catching some nice rainbow trout at 30 to 40 feet. They will go deeper as the weeks go on. Lots of shad are showing up in coves to spawn. The fishing is action packed. This trip is fun for everyone.

Trout Fishing the Sacramento River you can’t go wrong. This river kicks out the best wild rainbow trout fishing you will find. I guarantee it. The Rainbow trout are feeding on eggs and flies all day long! This is one of my favorite trips to do. The Sacramento River is a eyeful. Great fishing and being with nature Its always a good time.

Dont forget King Salmon Season is only 2 months away! I am already booking up days! Excited to have our numbers back to 2 fish limits per person. The reports are in and it looks like we are going to have an even better season then last year! Get your days booked early. So you can get in to these hard fighting Crome bright king salmon. We will start on July 16th through December 16th. Don’t miss out on this one. txt / email / or call me @ 530-917-5619 to book a trip.
