SMITH RIVER STEELHEAD: We have been all over the place the last month. Fished the Smith River first part of February. Got into some nice bright coastal Steelhead. We had to work hard for them everyday! It’s a must do if you never fished Steelhead on the Smith River or any river close to the salt. It is not for the average fishermen. We put in long days and fished hard at just a few opportunities to get one.

TRINITY RIVER: I’ve been fishing the Trinity River last few days. The flows are at 1,220 CFS the water is perfect Steelhead green color. Put the boat in at 7:00am. The first spot we came to we made 4 drifts and 4 steelhead in the net! It was great. But I was kinda shocked. With it being late in the season for that much action. It continued that way the rest of the day. We side drifted roe and a small #1 puff ball. I will be finishing on the Trinity from now tell March. Then it will get a bit scratchy for fish. I've had good days in March so its not out of the question to go longer.

SACRAMENTO RIVER: TROUT/STEELHEAD fishing on the Sacramento River is really good right now. As we go in to March and April we will see 20 to 50 fish days. It is a great time with lots of action. Don’t miss out on it. We will be doing spin fishing and fly fishing. Can’t beat it right here in Redding CA. Call and book your trip today 530-917-5619
